To celebrate Black History Month, SiriusXM is adding limited-engagement channels and specialty programming to its satellite radio, Pandora stations and Stitcher podcasts.
Friday sees the debut in the SXM app of SiriusXM programming dedicated to Aretha Franklin, Miles Davis and Motown Records. From 2/14-20, Franklin will be channel 104 and Davis will be channel 67. From 2/21-27, Motown will be channel 49.
Other special programming includes 2/7's Save the Music’s J Dilla Day on channels 43 and 44; a Bob Marley tribute concert on his 77th birthday, 2/6, on channel 19; and Town Hall with Terence Blanchard on 2/20 on channel 67.
