TAG, THEY'RE IT! SHAZAM'S BIGGEST MOVERS

A 35-year-old song from Sinead O’Connor and a track released last year by Scribz Riley rise to the top of the Shazam USA Top 100 thanks to prominent syncs.

O’Connor’s “Drink Before the War” (Chrysalis) is the week’s Biggest Mover on the Shazam USA Top 100, having appeared on HBO’s Euphoria, while Riley’s “I Lied (Part 1),” released by Sony in November, benefited from a placement on Starz’s Power Book II: Ghost.

Euphoria was responsible for two of the Top 5’s Biggest Movers: Labrinth’s “I’m Tired” (Hollywood/Republic) and Mahalia Jackson’s 1956 recording of “Sometimes I Feel Like a Motherless Child” (Columbia).

Lolo Zouai’s self-released “Brooklyn Love” from 2018 makes the list after it was heard on HBO Max’s The Fallout.

Over in Blighty, “Morning of My Life,” a 1973 record from reggae singer John Holt, is the week’s Biggest Mover following a sync in the BBC’s Death in Paradise.
