Ari Lennox, Summer Walker, 21 Savage and Lil Durk will headline Live Nation Urban's eighth annual Broccoli City Festival, taking place 5/7-8 in Washington, D.C., at the RFK Stadium festival grounds.
Other top-billed acts include WizKid, Wale, Gunna, Don Toliver, Tems and Masego.
This year, Broccoli City and Live Nation Urban are partnering to launch BLK Change Weekend, beginning 5/6, which will mobilize young people, companies and community organizations to work together to create a more racially equitable world for Black millennials and Gen Z'ers. The weekend will feature a series of community-impact volunteer activities promoting community health and forums highlighting job/internship opportunities, health/wellness tools and financial support for small businesses. Criminal and environmental justice issues will also be addressed.
Said Live Nation Urban President Shawn Gee, “We are really excited to bring the Broccoli City Festival back after a long, two-year hiatus. This brand is much bigger than the announced artist lineup; the mobilization of Black people and corporations that are active in the community, the education, conversation and connections that happen at Broccoli Con and the overall celebration of Black culture that will occur throughout the weekend represent the core tenets we're building on.”
