SIRIUS XM AND PANDORA THINK JOHN MAYER IS SUPER
John Mayer will kick off Super Bowl LVI festivities in Los Angeles with a free show at the Hollywood Palladium on 2/9. Presented by SiriusXM and Pandora, the show will air live on SiriusXM’s The Spectrum (channel 28) and the SXM app at 8pm PT. Listeners who are not SiriusXM subscribers can hear the performance on Pandora on 2/12 at 6pm PT.
The concert, hosted by Bravo Network and SiriusXM personality Andy Cohen, will feature Mayer performing songs from his latest album, Sob Rock (Columbia), including “Last Train Home” and other fan favorites.
Cohen will sit down with Mayer for an exclusive interview before the show to discuss his music, upcoming tour and betting tips for the Big Game (take the over on the Rams, but what do we know).
Fans will receive complimentary T-shirts designed by Mayer (while supplies last) and stadium-regulated clear tote bags to hold their swag.

As Deadheads know, Mayer has masterfully carried forward to lead-guitar sensibility of Jerry Garcia with Dead & Company. We saw him briefly turn into a mastodon during a solo on "China Cat Sunflower," but that may have been the party favors talking.
