Murda Beatz, center, gets Blxst and Wale to believe his theory on how basketball can be a metaphor for romance.
Murda Beatz has inked a global distribution deal with ADA Worldwide, releasing his first single, “One Shot,” today. The track features Blxst and Wale.
Hailing from the mean streets of Fort Erie, Ontario, Canada, Murda Beatz has worked on more than 40 platinum and multiplatinum singles by artists like Migos, Nicki Minaj and Cardi B. As a DJ, he's performed at Coachella, G-Eazy’s Endless Summer Tour, A$AP Ferg’s Floorseats Tour, Toronto’s Veld Fest and Australia’s Festival X. The NFT he recently launched sold out in 14 minutes.
Beatz is nominated for a Grammy for Best Pop/Vocal Album for his production work on Ariana Grande’s Positions.
“Murda is one of today’s most sought-after producers, and he’s one of those rare hybrid artists who can make magic in the studio for the industry’s biggest acts while also earning a name for himself in his own right,” said ADA Worldwide President Cat Kreidich. “He’s exactly the sort of passionate and massively talented artist ADA is proud to partner with.”

ADA is starting the year strong with the continued success of YoungBoy Never Broke Again, Birdman’s From the Bayou (Big38 Enterprise/Cash Money) and “Retail Therapy” by U.K. grime act Central Cee.
