UMG CLASSICS DIVISION MAKES GLOBAL MOVES

Liz Chew, Rachel Tregenza and George Irwin have been promoted at Universal Music Group’s Global Classics & Jazz division.

Chew has been appointed Senior Director, Global Priorities–Marketing. She will lead a team in London and Berlin tasked with creating global campaigns for the roster as well as supporting new and developing artists.

Tregenza, upped to Senior Director, Global Priorities–Communications and Artist Strategy, will focus on expanding new audiences for classical and jazz repertoire and drive artist strategy.

Irwin, meanwhile, has been awarded the newly created role of Audience & Analytics Manager, reporting to Paul Moseley, SVP of Content & Data.

The appointments will provide focused resources to accelerate transformation of the company's international business and classical and jazz labels.

“These changes mark the latest step in our mission to deliver best-in-class service to our incredible artists and further these genres of music that hold global cultural significance and are of great importance to us at UMG,” said Dickon Stainer, President & CEO of Global Classics & Jazz.
