STRINGER NAMED CBE
BY THE QUEEN

Sony Music boss Rob Stringer is being awarded the Commander of the Order of the British Empire (CBE) by Queen Elizabeth II for his music-industry achievements and philanthropic work. The bestowal is part of the Queen’s New Year’s Honors.

Stringer’s launch of Artists and Songwriters Forward in 2021 and Sony’s $100 million Social Justice Fund were cited as primary examples of philanthropic efforts that helped inspire the honor.

Stay tuned for updates.
