FLIPOVER FRIDAY: NEW ARRIVALS AT iTUNES & APPLE MUSIC

LadBaby has scored the coveted Christmas #1 in the U.K. at iTunes songs three years running with his novelty tunes, and this holiday season, Americans are joining in. Roddy Ricch and Rick Ross lead the way in sales and streams on the album side.

LadBaby f/Ed Sheeran & Elton John’s “Sausage Rolls for Everyone” (frtyfve) opens at #1 on iTunes songs this Flipover Friday. The ditty is a parody of John & Sheeran’s current seasonal hit, “Merry Christmas,” benefitting the Trussell Trust’s fight against poverty and hunger.

Ross and Ricch are the only two artists with sets in the Top 10 at iTunes and Apple Music. Richer Than I Ever Been from Epic’s Ross is the top new arrival on the streaming side, where it’s #5; Ricch’s Live Life Fast (Atlantic) is the top rookie at iTunes, zipping to #3.

Republic owns the other two Top 10 iTunes arrivals: The U2-led soundtrack to Sing 2 is #4, and winners of The Voice Girl Named Tom hit #10 with their six-song Season 21 Collection. The trio’s self-released Hits From the Road from February is also in the Top 10.

At iTunes songs, “Broadway Girls” (Alamo) by Lil Durk f/Morgan Wallen lights up #2.
