Warner Records has promoted Claudia Butzky to Executive Vice President, Brand Partnerships & Sync, in which capacity she will oversee strategy for creative music placement and campaigns across film, television, gaming, sports and related platforms.
Butzky will also continue to lead the label’s Brand Partnership team. Based in Los Angeles, she will report to Co-Chairman & COO Tom Corson.
“Claudia is one of the most well-respected and admired strategic branding experts in the business,” said Corson. “She’s a powerful creative force who brings tremendous value to our artists, their music and our company as a whole. Both [Co-Chairman & CEO] Aaron [Bay-Schuck] and I know she will continue to deliver stellar results for Warner Records.”
Most recently SVP, Brand Partnerships, Strategic Marketing & Commercial Sync Licensing, Butzky has expanded Michael Bublé’s mega-successful “Bubly” Pepsi campaign and orchestrated brand partnerships and campaigns for Dua Lipa (Lays), Chika (Facebook), Green Day (NFL), Josh Groban (Bush's Beans), Bebe Rexha (Walgreens) and Saweetie (NASCAR, Jack Daniels, WNBA, Sprite).
Prior to her tenure at Warner, Butzky was SVP, Global Brand Partnerships, at RCA Records. She's also worked for Island Records and Def Jam.
