BEYONCÉ, BILLIE SECURE GLOBE NOMS

Beyoncé, Billie Eilish and Van Morrison received Golden Globe nominations today for their songs in 2021 movies.

Eilish and her brother Finneas’ “No Time to Die,” the James Bond theme that has already won a Grammy, is up against Beyoncé’s “Be Alive” from King Richard.

The lone song up for a Globe and a Grammy is Jamie Hartman, Jennifer Hudson and Carole King’s “Here I Am (Singing My Way Home),” which Hudson sang as Aretha Franklin in Respect.

Lin-Manuel Miranda received a nom, his third, for “Dos Orugitas” from Disney’s Encanto. Morrison’s “Down to Joy” is from Belfast, the film with that tied for the most noms, seven.

Jonny Greenwood, Hans Zimmer and Alexandre Desplat are among the composers up for Best Score.

The full list of noms is here.
