40 YEARS OF METALLICA

Metallica has teamed up with the Coda Collection to present Metallica 40th Anniversary Live, a free global livestream of the band's anniversary concerts at San Francisco’s Chase Center 12/17 and 12/19, at 9pm PT. The shows will then be available exclusively at the Coda Collection Amazon Prime Video channel.

As part of the weekend-long celebration, San Francisco will host various events, including a Metallica tribute-band showcase and the Takeover Film Fest—featuring screenings of the Cunning Stunts and Orgullo, Pasión y Gloria: Tres Noches en la Ciudad de México concert films.

The Coda Collection/Metallica partnership will also bring concert films, documentaries and other content spanning the band’s career to the channel throughout 2022.

Additionally, Metallica has joined forces with Amazon Music for The Metallica Takeover, a guest-hosted station (available to Amazon Music Unlimited subscribers and Prime members) where the band breaks down the stories behind their music, set to their catalog. Just ask Alexa to play it.
