ITALY BECKONS VARIOUS ARTISTS

Måneskin’s recent success has piqued Various Artists Management’s interest in other Italian acts, prompting a partnership with Italian distribution company and record label Artist First.

The two companies will jointly discover and develop Italian artists for the global market.

David Bianchi, Founder and CEO of Various Artists Management, called Artist First “a wonderful success story in Italy” that “has been at the forefront of innovation in the music industry” in the region for many years. “They are incredibly ambitious and eager to build a presence in the international marketplace, so it is an absolute privilege to have formed this alliance with them and to be part of this exciting new chapter in their story,” he said.

Artist First, launched by Claudio Ferrante in 2009 in Milan, distributes a number of labels. Its own roster includes Gazzelle, Fulminacci, Alfa, Dardust and Zero Assoluto. It also has a significant stake in management company 432 Srl, which represents Le Vibrazioni, Francesco Gabbani Mace, Dolcenera and Ana Mena.

Various Artists Management, which was founded in 2008, has offices in London and Los Angeles and represents Tom Grennan, Supergrass, Barns Courtney, La Roux and The Libertines, among others.
