FLIPOVER FRIDAY: NEW ARRIVALS AT iTUNES & APPLE MUSIC

The eighth studio album from Danish band Volbeat, Servant of the Mind (Republic), rides in at #1 in the first Flipover Friday of December. It’s one of three deluxe editions in the Top 10 at iTunes.

Right behind Volbeat is the expanded edition of Blake Shelton’s May release, Body Language (Ten Point/Warner Nashville), at #2. Just to make you feel old, the 30th anniversary edition of U2’s Achtung Baby (Island/Interscope/UMe), now with 39 tracks, is #8. (Thirty years? Really?)

Elsewhere, Berner’s GOTTI (Bern ONE) is packing heat at #5, Khalid’s Scenic Drive (RCA) cruises to #9 and Styles P & Havoc’s Wreckage Manner (Phantom/MNRK) tears it up at #10.

Ed Sheeran & Elton John received an early present today as their “Merry Christmas” (Atlantic) debuts at #1 at iTunes. The other new entry in the Top 10 is Walker Hayes’ “AA” (Monument).

At Apple Music, SZA’s much-anticipated “I Hate You” (TDE/RCA) is already Top 40. Eladio Carrion’s Thursday release, Sauce Boyz 2 (Ritmas), is the top new arrival, coming in at #11.
