TAG, THEY'RE IT! SHAZAM'S BIGGEST MOVERS

TikTok has turned a 17-year-old Akon song into something it wasn’t when it was first released: a smash hit.

Three versions of Akon’s “Bananza (Belly Dancer)” (Universal), which barely cracked the Top 40 in the U.S., have Shazam users shimmying to the viral sensation.

Meanwhile, SZA’s “I Hate You” has shot into the Top 5 of Biggest Movers on the Shazam USA Top 100 despite only being available on Soundcloud.

Imagine Dragons’ track from Arcane League of Legends, “Enemy” (KIDinaKORNER/Interscope), has thumbs a-wagging on both sides of the pond. A packed collection of biggest gainers in the U.K. starts with the BBC Children in Need charity single from Niall Horan & Anne-Marie and includes new music from GAYLE, Adele and D-Block Europe and seasonal classics from Mariah Carey, Wham! and Slade.
