WE'LL BE RIGHT BACK AFTER THIS MANTRA

When asked during the Get Back sessions if he liked India, Ringo Starr replies, “Not really.” Yet the influence of Indian devotional music and culture is still a presence throughout the documentary, from John Lennon’s “Across the Universe” (with its “Jai guru deva om” incantation) to George Harrison’s burgeoning solo work (not to mention the home movies from the band’s India trip).
