Projections for Taylor Swift's Red (Taylor's Version) have continued to grow, with the dart currently aimed in the 570k range. You may recall that earlier this year, the Republic superstar's evermore set established the modern chart record for most vinyl albums sold in a single week: 102k. She’ll do it again this week, with projections for the redone Red on vinyl expected to hit as high as 110k.
Of course Tay is also streaming up a storm. Her 10-minute reworking of the Red cut "All Too Well" unseated the mighty Adele from the #1 perch on the Spotify and Apple Music charts. On the Spot's U.S. Top 50, Swift owns six of the Top 10 tracks and 13 of the Top 20.
The 30th anniversary of Nirvana's Nevermind (Geffen) sends the album back into the Top 15, while last week’s CMA Awards and a vinyl sale at Walmart return Chris Stapleton’s Traveller and Starting Over (both Mercury Nashville) to the Top 20.
Now if you'll excuse us, we'd like to get started on that turkey.
