Maná has announced the first four shows of its residency at The Forum. The Mexican rock band intends to add dates in accordance with demand.
The Live Nation-produced residency opens 3/18 and will initially extend to 3/19, 4/22 and 4/23. The Forum will be the only place in the U.S. where Maná will perform in 2022. Tickets will go on sale to the general public Friday.
The members of Mana say the production is all new, no two shows will be the same and special guests will make appearances.
“L.A. is a second home for us,” Mana said. “We started here 30 years ago at the Hollywood Palace and we’ve been rocking with L.A. fans ever since. We are amped to get back on stage in the City of Angels and want our fans to feel the same.”
Said Geni Lincoln, GM/SVP of booking for the Forum. “We are proud to announce this residency with Maná. On their 2019 Rayando El Sol Tour, the band cemented its position as the reigning kings of The Forum, breaking the record for the most shows sold out on a single tour since our remodel and reopening.”
Prince famously set up shop at The Forum in 2011 for a residency that spanned 21 concerts.
