Warner Chappell Music has extended its worldwide publishing agreement with producer/songwriter Carter Lang, encompassing existing and future works, through a joint venture with Electric Feel Entertainment.
The much in-demand hitmaker oversaw Post Malone & Swae Lee's diamond-certified (in this case 11-times platinum) "Sunflower" and Doja Cat f/SZA's "Kiss Me More."
Lang connected with SZA in 2015, which began a longstanding creative partnership. He performed with her at Lollapalooza that year and would go on to contribute to eight tracks on her critically acclaimed debut, Ctrl. The Chicago native has since collaborated with Rihanna, Lil Nas X, Summer Walker, Jhené Aiko and Big Sean, among many others.
Said WCM President of A&R, U.S., Ryan Press, “Carter continues to create hit after hit, and there’s truly no limit to what he can do as a songwriter, producer and musician. We’re looking forward to helping him grow even more in partnership with Austin [Rosen] and David [Waltzer] at Electric Feel.”
