"No one's more compelling with truth than Adele," promises Oprah Winfrey in this clip teasing the CBS special Adele: One Night Only, which is slated to air on 11/14 (8:30 ET/8pm PT, with streaming on Paramount+). The spot includes footage of Adele performing at L.A.'s Griffith Observatory, notably a bit of "Rolling in the Deep," as well as tantalizing hints about the composition of the show. We should also be hearing some new material from Columbia album 30, which drops on 11/19.
Meanwhile, the question of whether Oprah will make Adele cry or vice versa during the hotly anticipated interview segment is approaching metaphysical levels, along the lines of the Talmudic riddle, "Can God make a stone so heavy He himself cannot lift it?"
There’s no one like @Adele.❤️ You’re invited to a posh night including special performances and an interview with @Oprah this Sunday on CBS. #Adele pic.twitter.com/zKrQwAb9pW
