CMT has revealed the team behind next year’s CMT Music Awards. Serving as Executive Producers for the fan-voted award show will be CMT’s Margaret Comeaux and Leslie Fram, alongside Switched on Entertainment’s John Hamlin.
The telecast marks the 14th year Comeaux and Hamlin have been at the center of ViacomCBS’ award show and the 10th consecutive year for Fram. Amy Lin Johnson will also co-Executive Producer the event, while Jackie Barba and Heather D. Graffagnino will be executives in charge of production and Shanna Strassberg and Taryn Hurd will serve as Talent Producers.
The 2022 CMT Music Awards will air live from Nashville on 4/3 at 8pm/7pm CT and premieres exclusively on CBS. It will also be available to stream live and on demand on Paramount+. Additionally, CMT will kick off a new Country Music Week with special programming and events leading up to the show’s inaugural CBS broadcast.
“On behalf of the entire production team at CMT, many of whom have worked together for decades, we’re thrilled to bring the 2022 CMT Music Awards to CBS LIVE from Nashville,” said Comeaux.
