ASTRALWERKS, DOMINO JOIN FORCES ON BOB MOSES

Astralwerks and Domino Recording Co. have struck a unique global partnership with the electronic duo Bob Moses for the release of their new single and video, “Time and Time Again.”

Astralwerks President Toby Andrews previously managed Bob Moses; Geoff Barnett and Red Light now manage the duo.

He said, “Having worked with Jimmy and Tom during the early years, it’s an absolute pleasure to bring things full circle and have the Astralwerks global team behind the upcoming project and rejoin what is arguably one of the most exciting projects in electronic music today.”

The duo is working on their third album that will come out next year via Astralwerks/Domino. The new single/video was released today.

“It was going to take a unique proposition for us to enter into such a venture, but the chance to collaborate again with Toby Andrews and harness the energy and enthusiasm of the Astralwerks team proved to be an enticing opportunity,” Domino Kris Gillespie. “With Susan Busch’s continued A&R role and Peter Berard’s creative direction, I cannot wait to see what sort of success this wild combination achieves on behalf of Bob Moses.”

Bob Moses (Tom Howie and Jimmy Vallance) has also announced a 2022 North American headlining tour that goes on sale today.

“It’s a big week for us: a new tour for 2022 and now our first new music in a while,” the duo said. “We spent most of the last year in the studio, and this track feels like the perfect first taste of what we’ve been working on. It’s a celebration of the return of dancing with friends after almost two years spent inside.

“It’s also a special song for us personally because it was inspired by a close friend who we lost too soon. Writing the song was cathartic, and it helped us realize that all of those shared adventures of dancing until the sunrise are memories we’re lucky to hold.”

The tour starts 3/20 in Tucson, Ariz. and wraps 5/21 in Vancouver, B.C., with an L.A. stop at The Greek Theatre on 5/13 and a Brooklyn show on 4/2.
