WCM HAS A JONES FOR SAM SMITH

Sam Smith is in the Warner Chappell Music fold via a new joint venture between Tim & Danny Music and WCM. The worldwide publishing agreement covers all future works.

It’s the first signing to come from Tim & Danny Music and Warner Chappell Music’s new long-term publishing partnership. The two companies have joined forces to identify and nurture top songwriting talent with a focus on the U.K. and international markets.

Said Warner Chappell Music Co-Chair and CEO Guy Moot, “I’m quite thrilled about our new business relationship with Tim and Danny, two of my oldest friends in the music industry and incredible entrepreneurs. They have an outstanding track record, including supporting Sam since the beginning, and I know this is the start of a long and successful partnership.”

Tim & Danny Music, led by the British management duo Tim Blacksmith and Danny D., comprises Delirious Blacksmith Management, Stellar Songs, 45th & 3rd Music, StarRoc and Tim and Danny Records. In addition to Smith, Blacksmith and D. work with Charli XCX, Emeli Sandé, Stargate and others.
