PW AWASH IN WAVE OF VANDROSS

Primary Wave Music has struck a partnership with the estate of Luther Vandross. Included in the deal are some of the singer's biggest hits, including “Never Too Much.”

Vandross, who died in July 2005, amassed 11 platinum albums and eight Grammy Awards over the course of his career.

PW has acquired a stake in his publishing, recording income stream and name and likeness rights. The publisher will also continue a long-term partnership with the estate to manage assets.

“Luther Vandross was an American icon and the voice of a generation,” said Larry Mestel, CEO & Founder, Primary Wave Music. “We look forward to working with Carmen [J. Romano of FBBM Entertainment Business Management] and the estate to help expand his influence.”

Said Romano, “The estate’s goal is to see Luther’s legacy continue to flourish. We believe the partnership with Primary Wave is a clear step in that direction.”
