As "Easy on Me" explodes, Ron Perry's Columbia now has a three-headed monster on its hands, with the aforementioned Adele track, The Kid LAROI & Justin Bieber's "Stay" and Lil Nas X's "INDUSTRY BABY" leading virtually every chart.
Adele, LAROI and LNX currently own 1-2-3 at Spotify on both the domestic and global charts. "Stay" has enjoyed the most days at #1 on the platform's global chart this year. Lil Nas X's MONTERO, meanwhile, just scored a fifth consecutive week as the Spot's biggest album. Over at Apple Music, Adele is #1 on both its domestic and global charts.
"Stay" just logged its eighth consecutive week at #1 at Pop radio, while "INDUSTRY BABY" earns a second week at #2 and will likely be the next track to dethrone "Stay." "Easy on Me" shattered records its opening week, leading adds at multiple formats, and is approaching the Top 10 at Pop after only 10 days.
To celebrate the three simultaneous smashes, the Columbia boss offered to stage dive during Adele's upcoming CBS special.
