iHEARTRADIO GOES PURPLE FOR GLAAD SPIRIT DAY

In celebration of the 11th annual GLAAD Spirit Day, iHeartRadio is today continuing its yearslong partnership with GLAAD to encourage listeners to “go purple” and take the pledge to unite against the bullying of LGBTQ+ youth.

Such luminaries as Chloe x Halle, Hailee Steinfeld, Sterling K. Brown and Andy Cohen are joining the company in showing support for the community.

iHeartRadio has run a PSA campaign with Elvis Duran and Enrique Santos to highlight the impact bullying has on LGBTQ+ young people the world over.

Creating inspirational moments are artists like Lil Nas X, who’s using his platform to spread awareness of HIV's continued presence; Demi Lovato and Sam Smith, who've come out as non-binary; and TJ Osborne, the first openly gay man signed to a major country label.

Also voicing messages of support are JoJo Siwa, the first contestant on Dancing With the Stars in the U.S. to compete with a same-sex partner, Shea Diamond, who dropped the LGBTQ+ anthem “I Am America,” and out bisexual artists like Phoebe Bridgers, CHIKA and Rina Sawayama.

Join the Spirit Day movement to take a stand against bullying and show solidarity with LGBTQ+ youth here.
