Warner has closed a hotly contested deal with The Walters, whose track "I Love You So" has been reignited via TikTok and DSPs. CEO/Co-Chairman Aaron Bay-Schuck inked the Chicago quintet.
"I Love You So" is particularly hot at Spotify, where it's approaching the Top 50, having racked up 5m streams last week.
The Walters achieved success in the mid-2010s as local favorites, playing 2017's Lollapalooza and amassing a loyal fan base. They've accumulated hundred of millions of streams since. Expect tour dates to be announced soon as the band looks to capitalize on their viral success and reintroduce the world to their catchy-ass tunes.
AB-S celebrated the signing by heating up a three-year-old Lou Malnati's pie he found in his freezer.
