The Weeknd is delaying his 2022 tour to expand from arenas to stadiums. Instead of beginning in January, he is eyeing a summer start.
“I want to do something bigger and special for you, which requires stadiums,” he tweeted.
Ticketholders will receive refunds and be given priority to purchase tickets for the stadium shows.
The Weeknd's Live Nation-produced After Hours tour was scheduled to start 1/14 in Vancouver, B.C., and run through 4/30. His European jaunt, also in arenas, is slated for early September.
The stadium tour has a new name to boot: After Hours Til Dawn. Sounds like this could run into some overtime.
