Sony Latin's Maluma is having a moment. The charismatic Colombian is about to wrap up his sold-out Papi Juancho arena tour, including stops at L.A.'s Forum, NYC's Madison Square Garden, Chicago's Allstate Arena and American Airlines Arena in Miami, to name but a few. The Walter Kolm-managed star is up for two Latin Grammys; is co-starring in a big-screen rom-com, Marry Me, with J.Lo (in theaters around Valentine’s Day ’22); was featured on the cover of Rolling Stone alongside Madonna, has done mondo media (including yet another in a series of big Fallon looks); is seeing action on single “Sobrio," now starting its odyssey on Spotify’s global Top 50; and joined Megan Thee Stallion and Rock Mafia for “Crazy Family” on the Addams Family 2 ST.
Prior single "Hawa'i" has racked up north of 820m Spotify streams worldwide; his Papi Juancho album is closing in on 400k ATD.
What's more, Maluma has joined forces with Sullivan Music/WK Records rookie and fellow Colombian Lalo Ebratt on new single and video "Sukutubla." Peep it below.
The man from Medellín with the massive social footprint (nearly 60m IG followers, for starters) is set to resume his international concert trek in March. We don’t know where Maluma finds the energy, but having enumerated just some of his activities, we need a nap.
