The AIDS Healthcare Foundation is gearing up to host its fifth World AIDS Day concert.
Set for 12/1 at The Forum in L.A., the concert will see performances by Jennifer Hudson and Christina Aguilera. Randy Rainbow will host.
Produced with longtime AHF partner Debbie Allen, the production will feature a performance by students of the Debbie Allen Dance Academy, which the evening will benefit, with a goal of raising $250k. To donate, click here.
U.S. Senator Bernie Sanders will be honored with AHF’s Lifetime Achievement Award (he will accept via video).
“Having a longstanding partnership with the AIDS Healthcare Foundation is a prime example of how community should support and uplift one another,” said Allen.
Said AHF President Michael Weinstein, “World AIDS Day provides an opportunity for us to mourn and this year mark a somber 40-year milestone. However, 2021 also marks the 35th anniversary of what has become today’s AHF,” an organization that has provided lifesaving care and treatment to 1.6m+ people globally.
Tickets are available for free here or via Ticketmaster. Proof of COVID-19 vaccination is required to attend.
