According to a recent Dave Brooks piece, Adele is considering two possible venues for a Las Vegas residency in 2022: the Park Theater at Park MGM and the Colosseum at Caesars Palace, both operated by Live Nation.
Brooks reports that a deal has been in the works over the last few weeks and that the Vegas run could amount to the superstar's entire 2022 North American tour plans.
Our sources at WME, meanwhile, tell us that a show at London's Hyde Park is in the works for next summer.
Adele has had a rocky relationship with the road throughout her career; as she detailed in 2017 from Wembley in a letter to fans at the conclusion of her most recent tour, “I'm dramatic and have a terrible history of touring... it doesn't suit me particularly well... I wanted my final shows to be in London because I don’t know if I’ll ever tour again.”
For the London-born diva, the proximity of Las Vegas to family and her Beverly Hills residences, along with low production overhead and premium ticket prices, may well trump the cost and demanding schedule of a national tour.
Adele has just confirmed that her first new music in six years will be arriving next Friday, with an album also reportedly on the way.
