AMAZON COUNTRY HAS A NEW SHERIFF

On the bootheels of announcing its offerings for Country Music Month, Amazon Music has appointed Michelle Kammerer as Head of Country Music.

Kammerer, who will join the team on 10/18, will lead efforts to grow country-music listening on the service, inclusive of marketing and artist and label relations through new initiatives and collaborations with a wide range of artists. She will be based in Nashville and report to Andre Stapleton, Global Head of Artist and Label Relations for Amazon Music.

Kammerer was previously Senior National Director of Marketing & Promotion at BMLG Records, having worked before then as National Director of Marketing & Promotion for BMLG’s Dot Records. Kammerer started her career at CAA, after which she moved to Country Radio Broadcasters.
