AMAZON MUSIC’S IN THE COUNTRY SPIRIT

In honor of Country Music Month, Amazon Music is delivering new music, livestreaming events and more.

Walker Hayes and Carin Leon have released "Fancy Like (Carin Leon Remix Amazon Original),” which leads the new Whiskey & Tequila playlist, a blend of regional Mexican and country music. Fans can expect Originals from Carly Pearce and Ashley McBryde on 10/8, Kolby Cooper on 10/15 and Ryan Hurd on 10/29.

On 10/12, Reba McEntire will contribute a virtual performance and Q&A on Amazon.com/live, following the release of her box set, Revived Remixed Revisited. The Amazon Music Twitch channel will also feature the Group Thread, a weekly live panel centered on country talent, and on 10/5, Breakthrough Country Live, highlighting such up-and-comers as Reyna Roberts, Sophia Scott and Ryan Garrett.

"For us, every month could be Country Music Month, but today gives us an opportunity to celebrate the best in the genre with new programming and by giving our country-music listeners even more reasons to celebrate," said Emily Cohen, Principal Country Music Curator, Amazon Music.

Amazon Music’s Country Heat playlist (which boasts a new look for its programmed content) is racking up listeners and has surpassed 13b streams in the U.S. since it launched in 2016. Fans can also listen to country music on playlists Fresh Country, Breakthrough Country, Texas Forever and more.
