WE'RE ALWAYS LATE WITH THESE THINGS

OK, OK, we meant to get around to this earlier, but you know how crazy things have been. Anyway, we finally got Lil Nas X a baby-shower gift.

We're referring of course to the "baby shower" site for his album MONTERO (Columbia), which dropped on 9/17. To commemorate the arrival of that long-awaited creative bundle, the Gee Roberson/Adam Leber-repped superstar commissioned a gift registry. But instead of buying a crib or a month's worth of diapers, well-wishers can instead contribute to a brace of worthy causes.

These include LGBTQ+ enfranchisement, mental-health assistance, justice-system reform and regional efforts on behalf of marginalized communities—there's one philanthropic organization for every track on MONTERO. It's a cool, thoughtful project in playful, shiny wrapping, which sums up the artist pretty well. Check it out here and, if you're able, flip a few bibs' worth of ducats to these orgs in honor of LNX's bouncing baby.
