R. KELLY FOUND GUILTY ON ALL COUNTS

After nine hours of deliberation, a federal jury in New York has found R. Kelly guilty on all counts, which include racketeering and eight counts of sex trafficking.

He will be sentenced in May 2022 for his role as the ringleader of a decades-long scheme to recruit women and underage girls for sex. Kelly could be sentenced to life in prison.

The R&B artist still faces outstanding sex-crimes charges in Illinois and Minnesota.

In 2008 Kelly was acquitted of child pornography in New York. Victim allegations over the last four years, the #MeToo movement and Dream Hampton's powerful 2019 documentary Surviving R. Kelly, however, reignited suspicion.
