Eagles of Death Metal’s Jesse “Boots Electric” Hughes is stuffing UMe’s stocking with a six-song EP of holiday favorites. It comes out right as you'll be perusing mulled-wine recipes, 11/19.
Eagles of Death Metal Presents A Boots Electric Christmas features Hughes as his alter-ego, Boots Electric, singing classics such as “God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen,” “Little Drummer Boy” and “Little Town of Bethlehem.” EODM bandmate Josh Homme joins him on a rendition of “O Holy Night.” Check it out below.
“Just a few songs to warm your heart during Christmas time. I hope you like them. May Christmas bring peace to you all. Happy Hanukkah, Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, I love you and God bless you all,” Hughes said.
In addition to the holiday album, Eagles of Death Metal have announced the second leg of their 24th Anniversary Tour, which will take place across Europe in March and April starting 3/19 in Zurich and ending at the Teddy Rocks Festival in Blandford Forum, U.K., on 4/30. The first leg, in the U.K., runs 11/22 through 12/6.
