NEW RELEASES: YOUNGBOY LEADS

Early numbers suggest YoungBoy Never Broke Again’s Sincerely, Kentrell (Never Broke Again/Atlantic) could unseat Drake’s Certified Lover Boy (OVO/Republic) at #1 on this week’s HITS Top 50. First-day streams are projecting 135-155k, the biggest debut yet for the Baton Rouge rapper, born Kentrell DeSean Gaulden.

Earlier this month, it was announced that YNBA would partner with Ethiopia Habtemariam’s Motown on a global joint venture for his Never Broke Again label. The first release under its auspices will be a compilation due in October. Could YoungBoy follow his label to Motown?

Look for an update today along with our prediction for the Dear Evan Hansen soundtrack (Interscope).

Now excuse us while we try to decipher the meaning of "YB better."
