MORELLI CELEBRATES ONE YEAR OF FOREVER

Former Sony Music RED President Bob Morelli is celebrating the one-year anniversary of his Long Island-based Cool is Forever Consulting.

The year-old outfit is a full-on label services company, a sector of the business that Morelli helped grow when he began his stint at RED in 2004. Current clients include country singers Ian Flannigan (whose current single "Grow Up" features Blake Shelton) and Brian Callihan and pop/R&B artist D'Crome Foster.

"After a long run at running indie and major distribution companies as well as start-up labels," says Morelli, "I now assist artists, labels and industry partners with strategies and how best to navigate the evolving music business. Looking forward to year two, and to continuing my unbroken record of sending Todd Hensley's calls to voice mail."

At RED, Morelli helped develop the careers of Jason Aldean, Mumford and Sons, Alabama Shakes, Kelsea Ballerini, Phoenix, 21 Savage, Brandi Carlile, Joey Badass, Jason Isbell and Childish Gambino.

Prior to RED, Morelli was the GM of the then-newly merged Sony/BMG working with Bruce Springsteen, Beyonce and Bob Dylan along with a host of other weasels during the 550 Madison glory days.
