TAG, THEY'RE IT! SHAZAM'S BIGGEST MOVERS

Hey Shazammers, do you feel lucky? Well, do ya, punk? Turns out Clint Eastwood’s latest has thumbs wagging over a couple of songs.

The first song from WaterTower’s soundtrack to Cry Macho flying up the Shazam USA 100’s Biggest Movers list comes from New Mexico country artist Will Banister. The other dates back to 1965, when Eydie Gorme was singing with Los Panchos.

A week after Ted Lasso was key to the Biggest Movers rundown, it returns with Martin Solveig & Dragonette’s 11-year-old “Hello” (Big Beat/Warner). Add another TV winner: The America’s Got Talent finale has stirred up interest in Doja Cat’s 2019 release “Say So” (Kemosabe/RCA).

And, of course, TikTok is responsible for getting thumbs wagging. The track this time is Kucka’s “Honey,” which was used in Dear White People three years ago. But it appears to be Kylie Bailey’s rendition, sung over the original, that’s gone viral.

In the U.K. it’s a completely different story; KRS-One’s “Sound of da Police,” Duran Duran’s “Save a Prayer” and Todrick Hall’s “Nails, Hair, Hips, Heels” lead the way thanks to syncs in the third season of Netflix’s Sex Education.
