KITT CRAFT

How do you get to Carnegie Hall? Practice, practice, practice. But it helps if that level of dedication is enhanced by off-the-wall inspiration. Which brings us to mad musical scientist Kitt Wakeley, who is slated to bring his rocking orchestral experience to the storied venue on 10/11; ticket info here.

The clip below, recorded live at the Oklahoma City Civic Center, offers an inkling of what lies in store for Carnegie Hall attendees. The opening cut from Wakeley's album Symphony of Sinners and Saints is a stirring session studded with silken strings and searing solos. Wakeley (seen here on keyboards) was joined by Joe Satriani on the cut "Conflicted." He'll have other big rock collabs to announce shortly.
