APPLE CONTROLS THE HITS WITH SHAZAM

Songs by Lil Nas X, Måneskin, The Kid LAROI, Olivia Rodrigo, Duncan Laurence and AURORA appear on the list of the most Shazamed tracks of the year, now discoverable via Shazam’s new feature found on the Control Center of iPhones and iPads.

Placement of the Shazam app on the device’s Control Center allows one-touch recognition of songs playing around users but also music in their favorite apps. (For you Luddites: Open Settings, then Control Center, then tap on the Shazam icon. Swipe down from the top right corner of your screen to access.) Fool your friends by seeming to know more about current music than you actually do!

Earlier this summer, Shazam crossed 1 billion recognitions per month and 50 billion since inception.
