Inside sources confirm that Kanye West’s current team of “advisors”—apparently the term “managers” is discouraged since, as the artist himself noted, "I can't be managed"—includes longtime associate Gee Roberson, as well as Ye Team stalwarts Abou "Bu" Thiam and Free Maiden. Roberson first worked with West during the latter’s very earliest Chicago days as a wizkid beatmaker, so his participation in the rollout of the massive Donda would appear to be something of a homecoming. He's also now overseeing the drop of Lil Nas X’s full-length on 9/17.
