FADER LABEL TURNS IT UP

FADER Label, home of pop wunderkind Clairo, rising LGBTQ+ singer Slayyyter and dance icons Matt & Kim, has announced a slew of personnel moves. Industry veteran Matt Colwell steps in as the label’s new Director of A&R while still fronting his own In Real Time management company. Salvatore Maicki moves over from The FADER magazine’s editorial department to become the label’s Creative Content Manager.

Jon Cohen, Co-Founder/CEO of FADER Label, said: “The addition of Sal and Matt to the FADER Label team has enabled us to raise the level of artist development we offer. Matt has been essential in helping our artists navigate the recording process and find the right producers, co-writers and resources to make incredible music. On the creative side, Sal is the perfect partner to help our artists execute their creative vision and develop the best visuals, videos, photography and messaging to support their music. They look forward to continuing to pretend HITS doesn't exist.”

In additional label moves, Yasmine Panah has been promoted to Senior Marketing Manager with Josh Hymowitz upped to Project Manager by FADER Label GM Carson Oberg.

More recent signings to the label include James Ivy, Zachary Knowles, Charlie Burg, Ella Jane, Kristiane, Jaebanzz, and Super Duper. In a related story, playing video games all day now counts as work.
