HERE COMES CERTIFIED LOVER BOY (UPDATE)

UPDATE: In anticipation of Drake's Certified Lover Boy, billboards have been erected in cities across the globe teasing features of artists from that area. In Chicago, a billboard shouted out Lil Durk; Atlanta teased Future, Young Thug, 21 Savage and Lil Baby; California mentioned GIVĒON and Ty Dolla $ign; and in New York "The Goat" was teased, leading fans to believe Jay-Z is on the album.

The OOH marketing was not limited to the U.S.; there's a billbaord in Nigeria that says "Tems is on CLB."

Are we in for more surprises from Drake? Stay tuned.

After sneaking a tease onto SportsCenter last week, Drake confirmed on Monday morning that his hotly anticipated Certified Lover Boy (OVO/Republic) will drop this Friday, 9/3, setting up another monster week of activity.

Drake first announced the project in mid-2020, teasing that it would arrive in January 2021. However, having worked on CLB throughout the year, he'll once again deliver an album on the heels of a Kanye West project amid a highly publicized feud between the two superstars.

Happy holiday weekend!
