UPDATE: Kanye West's long-overdue Donda (G.O.O.D./Def Jam) went live on streaming services and at iTunes Sunday morning at around 8:15am ET.
It arrived after four official public listening sessions featuring different versions of songs and several release-date changes. The official release includes appearances by JAY-Z, The Weeknd, Lil Baby, Travis Scott, Lil Durk, Lil Yachty, Playboi Carti, Kid Cudi, Chris Brown, Pop Smoke, Roddy Ricch, Ty Dolla $ign, Jay Electronica and Swizz Beatz, among several others.
The album shot to #1 at iTunes.
On Friday, we reported that the label had changed the album’s release date to 9/3 on Thursday. But the next day, Drake announced the same date for his own long-awaited album, Certified Lover Boy (OVO/Republic).
West had delivered the album once before but immediately took it back.
One reason for the delay might be found in an Instagram post he put up early Sunday.
