HOME RUN, TD OR DRAKE RELEASE DATE?

The opening of ESPN’s SportsCenter today contained more than just the highlights of baseball games and football practices: It may have included the release date for Drake’s next album.

Social media is abuzz with a claim that Drake “hacked” the opening to announce that Certified Lover Boy would come out 9/3 via OVO/Republic.

Instead of the usually crisp, professional photography of baseballs flying into the bleachers,  the opening dissolved into some dark and glitchy footage that included a cardboard sign with the words “CLB September 3.”

We’re just hoping it doesn’t mean he has some club level tickets to sell for next week’s Blue Jays game.
