In the latest fast-food chain/recording-artist news, Columbia's Lil Nas X will partner with Taco Bell. This high-profile collab is unique, however, in that LNX is a former Taco Bell employee. He will assume the title of Chief Impact Officer in advance of the Supreme rollout promoting MONTERO.
As such, Taco Bell scores one of the music industry's savviest marketers. Nas will appear in an ad campaign beginning this week to help launch the eatery's new breakfast program.
LNX's full-circle moment heralds his debut full-length, MONTERO (Call Me by Your Name), expected before year's end, as his second single from that set, "Industry Baby," holds firm in the upper reaches of DSP charts.
