TAG, THEY'RE IT! SHAZAM'S BIGGEST MOVERS

Netflix’s teen rom-com The Kissing Booth 3 pushes two little-known tracks up the Shazam USA Top 100, where Lizzo & Cardi B’s collab is this week’s Biggest Mover.

The Kissing Booth 3 breathes new life into Radical Face’s 2010 release “Welcome Home” (Bear Machine) and Landon Pigg’s 2007 cut “Falling in Love at a Coffee Shop” (RCA).

“Welcome Home” has had a solid life in the placement space, appearing in ads for Nikon, Corona, the Chevy Volt and the University of Oregon, plus documentaries like Forks Over Knives and Eddie Izzard: Marathon Man and a few TV shows.

“Falling in Love at a Coffee Shop” was previously used in De Beers and AT&T commercials. Intriguingly, Pigg’s initial breaks came via synchs on Grey’s Anatomy and One Tree Hill.

“Let’s Groove” (Columbia), the first single from Earth, Wind & Fire’s 1981 album, Raise!, went to #3 back in the day and is now part of a dance challenge on TikTok, which pushed it up the Shazam USA Top 100. TikTok is also responsible for building an audience for A-Wall’s 2019 release “Loverboy” (Revolution).

A new dance track, Joel Corry & Jax Jones' “OUT OUT" f/Charli XCX & Saweetie, is the Biggest Mover in the U.K., and a Samsung Galaxy phone advert has put Imagine Dragons’ “Believer” right behind it.
