U.K. MIDWEEKS: THE KILLERS SLAY

The Killers are on course to claim their seventh #1 on the U.K.’s Official Albums Chart on Friday, while Digga D and Ardee currently have the highest new entry at singles.

Pressure Machine (EMI) from The Killers is outselling the rest of the Top 5 combined at the halfway point. Electronic collective Jungle is on track for a personal best with Loving in Stereo (Caiola) at #2.

A trio of former chart-toppers round out the midweek Top 5: Olivia Rodrigo’s SOUR (Polydor) climbs one place to #3; Billie Eilish’s Happier Than Ever (Polydor) drops two slots to #4; and last week’s #1, We’re All Alone in This Together (NBR), by Dave, falls four positions to #5.

Jade Bird could clinch a second Top 10 album with Different Kinds of Light (Glassnote), at #10.

On the U.K.’s Official Singles midweek chart, Ed Sheeran’s “Bad Habits” (Atlantic) is on track for an eighth week at #1, boosted by a drill remix featuring Tion Wayne and Central Cee.

Digga D and Arrdee’s new collaboration, “Wasted” (EGA), starts at #6, while Jax Jones and Joel Corry f/Charli XCX and Saweetie’s “OUT OUT” (Asylum) is new at #17.

Lizzo f/Cardi B’s “Rumors” (Atlantic) starts at #19, while Dua Lipa and Elton John’s “Cold Heart” (EMI)—a mash-up of John’s “Rocket Man” and “Sacrifice” remixed by Pnau—opens at #24.
