CHART FINAL:
HAPPIER DAYS

Billie Eilish spends a second consecutive week at #1 on the HITS Top 50 with her sophomore set, Happier Than Ever. The Darkroom/Interscope album moved 82k units in week two, powered by 64m streams, a 40% drop in streaming activity (the average second-week drop this year for new releases in the Top 50 is 52%). Eilish’s week-two DSP action brings the album’s total streams to 668m, while Happier’s activity to date reaches 730k.

With Kanye West's Donda (G.O.O.D./Def Jam) now slated for 8/20 (at the earliest), Billie finds herself in a strong position for a third week at #1 next week.

Legendary MC Nas lands the top debut with King’s Disease II (Mass Appeal) as the sequel to his Grammy-winning 2020 set opens at #3 with 57k.

Eilish isn’t the only teen sensation in the upper reaches of the chart: Olivia Rodrigo’s SOUR (Geffen) returns to #2, while The Kid LAROI’s F*ck Love mixtape (Columbia) slides to #4. Kemosabe/RCA’s Doja Cat (a wizened 25) repeats at #5.

A year behind schedule (but who’s counting?), the deluxe 50th anniversary release of George Harrison’s beloved All Things Must Pass (Capitol)—which includes various physical offerings, new demos and upgraded audio—pushes the Beatle’s milestone triple-LP to #8, with 28k.

RCA Nashville’s Chris Young and Columbia’s Barbra Streisand both score Top 20 bows with new projects.

Finally, streeting this week are new titles from Warner Music Nashville’s Dan + Shay, Island’s The Killers, Alamo/Columbia’s blackbear, EMPIRE’s Iggy Azalea and Jennifer Hudson’s RESPECT soundtrack via Epic.
