STEINWAY HEADS TO HALLWOOD

Neil Jacobson's Hallwood Media has added seasoned creative exec Andy Steinway as Senior Vice President. Steinway brings his Grammy-winning songwriter client Jozzy, who has worked with Pharrell, Metro Boomin, 21 Savage, Coldplay, Lil Nas X and more to the writer/producer management hub. He also reps Raissa, an L.A.-based artist signed to Mark Ronson's Zelig/Columbia.

Steinway joins an expanding Hallwood, which has already earned three #1s in its first year of existence; Hallwood hitmakers have credits on Cardi B's "Up" (Yung DZA), BTS' "Dynamite" (David Stewart) and Polo G's "RAPSTAR" (Murda Beatz).

“Andy and I speak ‘Berklee,’” said Jacobson. “What I mean by that is we both come from the same school, where we were immersed and wholly focused on music from the age of 18. We ‘nerd out’ when it comes to how we listen to music and how we analyze talent, music, songs and records. Having him on the team is going to be incredibly valuable, as well as a ton of fun.”

Steinway has worked with some of the biz's top execs, including Larry Jackson and Stellar Songs cofounders Tim Blacksmith and Danny D.

The future of Hallwood Media is bright," Steinway said. "I’m thrilled to build something extraordinary with Neil, someone I’ve long admired and looked up to. I'm also looking forward to the office kombucha on tap Neil keeps raving about.”
